I love the post from jodie's sister aunt...whoever that Jodie and Kevin are opening up to Star magazine, come on Star!!!! You can put the story right next to the Obama and alien story or 8,000 pound werewolf baby found story.
If it really wasn't about the money then why are they no longer on the show? Why not say you want to be a part of their lives no matter what. Family has and always will have problems and drama but if your concern is for the kids and not just a bitch session on why you're not getting paid, even though its NOT about the money, then just be there, push past the anger and be there.
If it were me and my family I would not want anyone getting paid for something that is about me, my wife, and my kids. The show is Jon & Kate plus 8, not Jon and Kate, plus 8, plus Kevin and Jodie, and the babysitters, the nannies, the guy at the grocery store, the butcher, baker, and candlestick maker.
Family members should not have to pay for other family members to babysit unless it becomes a job to the sitter, meaning that they are giving up their lives, income, etc... to help someone out, but did/does Jodi work? if not then if you wantt to watch the kids then watch them!
There is only a few exceptions that I can see if I were in that situation: If TLC wanted or needed Kevin and Jodie to disrupt their lives on a daily basis (meaning they lost income or had to take unpaid time) to be on the show, if this is the case then the TLC executives would/should work it out with J&K and Kevin and Jodie, most likely the execs would play hardball if Kate balked too much, so it was probably inititated by Kevin and Jodie looking for some pay for their time and effort. Another might be in the form of compensation for using thier house and other things that Kevin and Jodie would have to be compensated for, almost like expenses. Other than that if you don't want to be filmed then say no. Don't go whoring your story to rags like Star magazine for a payday at someone elses (menaing the kids) expense.

someone should sue you!
I can't believe all the hatred for Jon and Kate under the guise of protecting their children, I am not a sheeple or zombie like the haters accuse people of being, i either watch the show or not, just like anything else in my life. Though if you look at the people on gosselins without pity you can clearly see that J&K+8 is their life. It is a life of hatred and jealousy, I am going to watch the shows this season and either like them or not. If they explain the marriage situation thats fine, if not who cares, but I believe they will because it make sfor great tv. About my blog title, someone should sue all the idiots clamoring to take the gosselins to court, how about we take your kids away because instead of watching and caring for them you are posting comments on a website while you shove food in your mouth bitching that Kate is too tan or Jon looks too fit.
Just to clarify some things, I do get annoyed with the show especially when Jon complains about not being Jon, he has to be Jon & Kate + 8, dude wipe the tears away, grow a pair, fix the crap with your wife and move on. Kate, relax, stop bitching, and fix the stuff with your husband. At least that's what I would do.

Jon&Kate haters get a life!
THis is my first blog, ever. So like it or don't like it, my blog will be the best thing going today!
In my sparetime I just went through a few sites about the Jon & Kate brewhahha and found gosselins without pity, holy crap there are some bitter, bitter people out there in tv watcherland. Most of them are probably unhappy housewives that are upset that the Gosselins and their success. Yes I said success, I know the bleeding hearts will say that it came with the price of their children but there are kids with it a lot worse than those 8 kids. Did Jon maybe f-up if he cheated on his wife? Hell yeah, no excuse is acceptable, even if Kate appears to be a tyrant sometimes. Has Kate f-up'd because she is too focused on other things than her being a mom? Not sure because we don't know if its true, all moms work (outside as well as inside the home) and maybe this is what she has to do to secure herself and her family. My wife works and balances life with me and my kids, I work and balance my life with my wife and kids, its a daily struggle, one that would be made more difficult with cameras in my face everyday and more kids (we have 2).
But this is what they (J&K) had to do, for the love of God they had 2 kids with 6 on the way, what would we all do? Struggle, get on welfare, not have the kids? Sure maybe they have lost their way, maybe they take too many freebies, maybe they both need to find an anchor but holy crap the bloggers out there that condemn them, hate them, crucify them are just plain wrong. If you don't like the show....TURN IT OFF! I hate, despise, Bill Maher he is a d*ck, and I believe wrong about everything, but guess what? I don't watch him, when I surf pass HBO and he's on I just keep going, maybe some of the stay-at home parents should find another show if this one bothers them sooo much.
